About The Event
The latest insights from behavioral science describe the many factors that influence people’s behavior — patients, the public and even healthcare staff. We know people do not process information and make decisions in an optimal fashion. First, we will explore behavioral economics principles that are relevant to healthcare. Then, participants will be able to develop their own “nudge.” In this 45-minutes session, you will learn to:
- Explain and interpret the principles underlying decision-making
- Compare the nudging approach to other methods of behavior change
- Design nudges and decision-tools to help people make better decisions
